Book of Mormon Challenge

If we read at least 2 pages per day, starting today, we will be able to finish the Book of Mormon by May 16, 2010. I know we can do it. Start today if you haven't done so already. I know our lives will be enriched every day we read the Book of Mormon.

General Conference

We invite you to prepare and join us for the general Relief Society meeting on Saturday, September 26, 2009, and general conference the following week on October 3-4.

Concerning conference, President Thomas S. Monson has said: “Those who will address us have sought heaven’s help and direction as they have prepared their messages. They have been impressed concerning that which they will share with us. . . . Our Heavenly Father loves each of us and is mindful of our needs” (“Welcome to Conference,Ensign, May 2009, 6).

New Baby!

Announcing

Alexander Winfree

Paula Winfree had her baby today at 1:13 pm.

He is a healthy boy at 5 lbs 14 oz and 18.5 inches long.

He was quite a surpise since he was not due for 4 more weeks, but baby and mom are both healthy and great.

Sister Winfree and baby will be home Wednesday afternoon.

If you are able to help with meals for Paula and her family, please let Sister Perez or Sister Stevenson know.
