o Strengthening Marriage is a new course to help you develop and maintain an enriching relationship with your husband or wife.
o The course will help you understand the foundation for happiness in marriage, identify attitudes and behaviors that may be getting in the way of happiness, and help you find ways to enrich your marriage.
o What Topics Are Covered?
The course covers six topics to help you identify areas to improve in your marriage.
Applying Gospel Principles
Communicating with Love
Fostering Equality and Unity
Overcoming Anger
Resolving Conflict

He has lovingly commanded us to “prepare every needful thing” (see D&C 109:8) so that, should adversity come, we can care for ourselves and our neighbors and support bishops as they care for others.
"We encourage members world-wide to prepare for adversity in life by having a basic supply of food and water and some money in savings.
"We ask that you be wise as you store food and water and build your savings. Do not go to extremes; it is not prudent, for example, to go into debt to establish your food storage all at once. With careful planning, you can, over time, establish a home storage supply and a financial reserve."

Sister Stevenson gave a beautiful lesson from the May 2009 Ensign by Elder David R. Bednar entitled "Honorably Hold a Name and Standing". She reminded us that we need to watch over each other as Relief Society sisters and not to leave anyone out in the storm of life. We need to "gather" one another and make it back to the house of the Lord so we can all receive the blessings of the temple and thereby gain eternal life. Please read this article in the May 2009 ensign if you have not done so already. Elder Bednar talks about what it was that kept the pioneers going through their unimaginable hardships as they sought shelter in camps along the Mississippi River. It was the fire of the temple covenant that burned in their hearts. it was their commitment to worship and honorably hold a name and standing in the house of the Lord. Elder Bednar says if you have not been able to make it to the temple, for whatever reason, to please cast away the things in your life that stand in the way and to seek after the things that are of eternal consequence.
